For artist Gary Liubakka, a lifetime spent fishing, exploring, and appreciating the natural world has provided an endless source of inspiration. Through pen-and-ink drawings and acrylic paintings, he captures the landscapes, wildlife, people, and experiences that leave a lasting impression.
Field Notes is a place to share the stories behind the artwork, the memories connected to it, and the observations gathered along the way.
Some stories will explore the inspiration behind a particular piece. Others will reflect on time spent outdoors, familiar places, and the experiences worth remembering.
